Description
Offering Trichopodus trichopterus (Three Spot Gourami).
Deriving its name from the series of spots running along its powder blue body in light with its eye, they can be inquisitive fish, exploring and feeling with their long pelvic fins. They can be aggressive in aquaria, therefore care should be taken before considering adding them to active communities. Aim to provide slow moving water with plenty of shaded areas to allow them to feel secure, and offer refuge from aggressive, dominant fish. They are relatively unfussy eaters, accepting commercial dried, as well as frozen, live foods.
