Description

Offering Thayeria Boehlkei (Penguin Tetra).

Penguin Tetra, so named for their silver belly and black back colouration akin to a penguin are a peaceful fish from slow moving rivers in South America, growing to approximately 1.5 inches. They prefer a tank with softer water, with peaceful inhabitants; community set-ups are ideal. Decorate with live plants, wood, rock and a sand, gravel substrate to help them feel secure, housing them in groups of 8 or more will help them display natural behaviours. They will readily accept a variety of foods such as flake, pellets, dried, frozen and/or live, a balance of which will bring out their colours and maintain their health.
