A stunningly coloured, streamlined fish originating from fast flowing waters in India, the red-line torpedo barb is an active shoaling fish, growing to approximately 6 inches. They are unfussy to water parameters, as long as they provided with fast moving clean water at all times. Feed a varied diet including flake, pellet, live and or frozen foods to maintain their health and vigour, groups of 6 plus are recommended to help them feel secure and exhibit natural behaviours. For best results, aim to decorate their tank with dense vegetation and some form of water breaking the surface, this will mimic their natural habitat.
