Description
Offering Pseudoplatystoma fasciatum (Barred Shovelnose Catfish).
Darter characins, so named for its twitchy movements do well in a group of their own kind, growing to approximately 2.5 inches. They display an interesting varied patterning, with females being slightly rounder. Suitable for peaceful community aquaria, they do well on flake, dried, vegetable, live or frozen foods, a balance of which will keep them healthy and maintain their vigour. They typically spend most of their time around the substrate level, investigating for food they can scavenge.
