Description

Offering Pseudomugil furcatus (Forktail Blue Eye).

Growing to approximately 2.4 inches, the males are brighter in colour, with longer finnage than females. Hailing from slow-moving waters, aim to replicate their conditions in tandem with natural driftwood, sand/gravel substrate and dense vegetation. Housed in larger groups of 10 or more, they are likely to display natural behaviours, sparring, showing off and swimming in the middle to upper tank levels. Due to their small stature their food should be chosen accordingly, from micro sized foods including live, frozen and commercial offerings.
