£3.00

Description

Offering Phenacogrammus interruptus (Congo Tetra).

A medium sized tetra from the Congo River, growing to approximately 3 inches this fish kept in proper conditions displays a magnificent blue metallic colouration, with smooth, flowing finnage. Aim for slightly soft water if possible, with regular water changes in a suitably sized large aquarium of 150 litres or more. These fish are best appreciated in groups, where they will glide gracefully through aquaria in a shoal. They accept a balanced diet such as flake, pellet, dried, live or frozen, as well as vegetable matter to help maintain their overall health. Live plants, wood, rock and a natural substrate such as sand, gravel, all help to keep this fish secure and comfortable in its environment.
