Offering a pair (male and female) of Apistogramma bitaeniata (Two-Striped Dwarf Cichlid).
A beautiful dwarf cichlid inhabiting slow moving, leaf strewn rivers in the Amazon, the males grow to around 3 inches with females being slightly smaller. Largely carnivorous, they appreciate a varied diet of live foods such as bloodworm, glassworm, grindal worms and more this helps to accentuate their vivid colouration and condition them for breeding. Parental care is demonstrated, with fry being shepherded and protected from intruders. Aim to provide a dimly lit, planted tank with natural decoration to help them feel at home.
