Offering Melanochromis cyaneorhabdos (Maingano Malawi Cichlid).
Found in a very small part of Lake Malawi, the Maingano cichlid is a recent addition to the hobby arguably better suited for smaller African cichlid tanks. Being an mbuna, it is aggressive though not to the same extent as other mbuna species. Due to the colouration, it can sometimes be confused for the Blue Johanni. Feed a balanced diet, consisting of flake, pellets; frozen and/or live, with vegetable matter helping to maintain their health. A suitable set-up should include rockwork, sandy substrate and some small open areas.
