Description
Offering Iriatherina werneri (Threadfin Rainbowfish).
A sleek rainbowfish from Papua New Guinea, with ornate finnage hence its name, the threadfin rainbow grows to approximately 1.6 inches. They do best in soft water, with shoals of their own kind in well furnished, planted tanks to encourage security and natural behaviours. Due to their long fins on males, tankmates should be chosen to avoid fin nipping, they also require clean, freshwater to maintain their health and vigour. A relatively unfussy eater, they do have small mouths and therefore benefit most from flake, live and or frozen foods.
