A popular aquarium fish with beginner and advanced aquarists alike, the leopard danio displays attractive dark spots against a metallic light body growing to approximately one inch in length. They are active and gregarious, spending most of their time exploring the middle to upper levels of aquaria they are very peaceful and do well in community tanks with inhabitants that won’t bully or eat them such as cichlids. Active omnivores, they will readily accept flake, pellets, dried, live and or frozen foods, a balance of which will help to maintain their colouration and health.
