Description

Offering Barbodes semifasciolatus (Golden Barb).

Native to India and growing to approximately 2 inches, golden barbs are great community fish owing to their peaceful disposition, attractive colouration and active swimming. Best kept in groups of 6 or more, they are a hardy fish but as with any fish it’s recommended to provide regular water changes, and avoid housing with aggressive or predatory fish such as cichlids. Try to feed a balanced diet from flake, pellet, dried, live and or frozen foods, this will help maintain their health and give vibrancy to their golden scales.
