Growing fairly large for a dwarf cichlid, sunset apistogramma grow to approximately 4 inches displaying beautiful. vibrant orange colouration giving them their namesake. Aim to induce breeding by maintain soft water parameters, if housed in few numbers they can be remarkably aggressive this is diluted in larger numbers. Condition males and females with a mixed diet, for best health and breeding include live foods such as bloodworm, brine shrimp etc.
