Offering Andinoacara pulcher (Blue Acara).
A medium sized South American cichlid growing to approximately 7 inches at largest, the blue acara has a reputation for being among the more tolerant cichlids, however it is largely dependent on the individual fish as to whether it will settle well into certain community tanks. Often suggested to beginners due to their hardiness, blue acara will tolerate various water chemistry, but do best in well filtered and clean tanks. They will readily accept flake, pellet, live or frozen foods, and any small fish such as neons.
