Found in tributaries across Brazil, Paraguay and Argentina, Borellii display an astonishing blue colouration, with beautifully sleek finnage.

Growing to between 5-6cm, these dwarf cichlids appreciate natural settings such as sandy substrate, wood, plants and leaf litter, however this is not essential.

Aim to provide plenty of fresh water, with dim lighting to encourage them to venture out and explore their surroundings.

They will eat a variety of foods, for best results include live/frozen to boost their health as part of a mixed diet.
